The Contemporary Music Ensemble (CME) is a mix of vocalists and instrumentalists focusing on upbeat contemporary music. The CME at any given time may consist of piano, guitars, electric bass, woodwinds, strings and percussion to accompany the singers in the post-Folk Mass world of Contemporary music in the modern church.

The mission of CME is to:
*create a grace-filled worship environment
*support the sung prayer of the Catholic Liturgy
*reinforce the message of the Gospels
*lead the congregation into deeper communion with God through both Traditional Catholic Hymns and Contemporary Praise and Worship style music.
CME leads song and prayer principally at the Saturday 5:30pm liturgies at Our Lady of Guadalupe on the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Saturdays of the month September to May, and every Saturday, June to August.  They serve as well, occasionally, at other special liturgical celebrations and at external events which include music at the Bethany Beach “Meet Me at The Manger” and support of the Celebration of the Mass at Brandywine Senior Living.

Rehearsals are held in member homes on Monday evenings prior to scheduled Masses, typically, at 7:00 p.m.  For information, contact Bernie Busby at 302-539-7292.
