SDEF’s mission is to educate people out of poverty.
We provide partial scholarships for Workforce Training and Certification to those who are in need and who lack financial resources to pay their tuition and fees.
SDEF helps not only the students, but also their families for generations to come.
We thank you for your continued prayers and your financial support. Because of your generosity, in 2025 we funded 23 scholarships totaling over $53,000. Students graduated with VOTEC, CLD and Medical Certifications and are now better able to support themselves and their families.
But we still have more applications waiting for more funds.
Please consider joining us or volunteering to help at our next fundraiser. We are still looking for restaurant gift cards for our Dine Around Town. This is part of our traditional “October Altar Talks” and our single biggest fundraiser of the year.
