The purpose of the GALA is to increase awareness of food insecurity here in Sussex County, to engage businesses and individuals in this effort, to be a fundraiser for the Food Bank of Delaware, and to support the local community impact programs implemented by these service clubs.

The Helping Hands GALA is a combined effort of 3 community service organizations at St Ann’s Catholic Church:  the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, the Knights of Columbus Council 16771, and the St. Ann Men’s Club.

Everyone is invited to join us in this effort to support the most vulnerable in our community.

We expect the 2026 Helping Hands GALA event will build upon last years’ success in support of the Food Bank of Delaware. We will have a wonderful sit-down dinner at Signatures Rest at Bayside, a live band, a Silent Auction featuring a number of Gift Baskets from local businesses, 9 different vacation trips, and a 50/50 raffle.

We look forward to seeing you there!
